The Spread DaLove Foundation is a 501(c) 3 charitable non-profit organization designed to engage youth by offering free activities, camps, clinics, and other events to help effectively promote the importance of exercise & fitness, as well as health & wellness education.
The S.T.A.R.S. Mentoring Program is a non-profit organization that was implemented to help keep Portland youth active in the gym and out of gang and street activities. S.T.A.R.S. works directly with local alternative schools to keep at-risk students on track to graduate on time. For more about the S.T.A.R.S. The cast of characters help tell the stories of each and everyone of us. Spread DaLove has created a short cartoon series to help people deal with mental health issues, self-esteem issues, and other challenges that life my bring our way. Spread DaLove Foundation President & Co-Founder Da’Love Woods has been selected the 2018 St. Mary's Academy Award winner for Outstanding Achievement in Athletics & Community Service. Her experience as a professional basketball player paired with a Master’s in Education are two qualities that truly make Da'Love unique in our community. Da’Love mentors youth with an emphasis in education through sports activities; Da'Love embodies what it means to be successful in both sports, education and community outreach.
